This GOSR funded stormwater mitigation project consists of replacing one outfall and installing new tide gates at five (5) different locations with 6.5’ diameter storm drainage piping in Brooklyn. Given its close proximity to both swampland and neighborhood communities the following are required: heavy staging, coordination and permitting with NYSDEC, SPDES permit, and SWPPP requirements, community outreach, lane closures and traffic rerouting, and more.
