Our humble beginnings
DACK started as an Estimating Firm in the basement of our founder, Ms. Aleksandra Chancy’s home.

2000
Started Scheduling department
The company introduced its 2nd largest division: Scheduling.

2001
G.Holdings
DACK’s first major contract with a developer was to estimate a 414-room hotel with 45 apartments throughout the pre-construction phase.

2001
Moved into office in White Plains
DACK opened shop in its prime headquarters at 2 William Street, White Plains, NY. The original office was approximately 250 SF and was comprised of 1 desk and a conference room.

2002
First employee
DACK hires its first employee!

2002
MWBE Certification
DACK registered as both a Minority-Owned Business Enterprise and a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise.

2004
Started Construction Management division
DACK introduced its 3rd largest division: Construction Management!

2005
DACK Expanded!
Not only did we get some more employees, but we also had to knock down a few walls to make room for them!

2006
First major contract as a sub-consultant on a public project
DACK served as a sub-consultant to PB-URS on the World Trade Center Memorial.

2007
Hired Gleneil Gayle
Other than Aleksandra, Ms. Gayle has been DACK’s longest working employee. She’s seen it all! Ms. Gayle is DACK’s Human Resources Manager.

2008
Started MWBE Compliance division
DACK’s 4th major division is born: MWBE Compliance.

2010
Relocated & expanded the office
DACK moved from the 4th floor to a larger 2nd floor office in White Plains.

2011
First Prime Contract with an agency: DASNY On-call Estimating
DACK landed its first prime contract with an agency where we worked on various locations performing professional estimating services.

2011
Started Training division
DACK launched its newest division – Training. The training division helps MWBEs, small businesses and contractors achieve their highest potential by assisting and guiding them in the essential courses they need to properly compete in the Construction Market.

2012
DACK expanded further!
In 2012, DACK entered the Disaster Management Arena due to Hurricane Sandy. In a period of 3 weeks, DACK tripled in staff to assess the damage caused by the superstorm & maintained the additional staff for 2 years.

2014
DACK opened doors to its 1st satellite office
DACK opened up its satellite office in Midtown Manhattan!

2015
Office Expanded Again
As the company continued to grow, the DACK office went under construction again to accommodate our new employees.

2015
DACK opened up its 2nd satellite office
A new satellite office opened in Albany!

2015
DACK is awarded a contract with Montreign Casino
DACK provided MWBE outreach & compliance for this $600M Casino.

2016
DACK opened Property Management division
DACK obtained its first property management contract for buildings in the Bronx.

2017
DACK opened up 3rd satellite office
Our newest satellite office is located in Harlem, NYC.

Celebrates 20 Years in Business!
DACK is proud to be in business with continued success and growth for 20 years!

2018
DACK opens new satellite office in Manhattan
DACK moves satellite office from Harlem to Midtown Manhattan.

Continued growth
Not only did we continue to grow our professional pool, but DACK expanded its portfolio to include several Owner’s Representative Contracts in 2018.

2020
DACK opens up new Emergency Management Division.
DACK welcomes Greg Raab on-board to lead our newly formed Emergency Management sector!
