Aleksandra Chancy, P.E. is the Founder and President of DACK Consulting, bringing over 25 years of experience in design and construction across institutional, governmental, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Since establishing the firm in 1997, she has provided strategic leadership on complex capital programs from planning through closeout, guiding multidisciplinary teams while actively mentoring emerging professionals and small firms to strengthen industry capacity and promote sustainable growth within the construction sector.

Prior to founding DACK, Ms. Chancy served as a project manager at a major New York construction management firm, where she supported value engineering, constructability reviews, site logistics planning, procurement, and project closeout activities. She also practiced as a structural engineer for over a decade, designing structures and supporting field coordination to ensure compliance with contract requirements. In addition to her professional leadership, she served for more than 13 years as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, mentoring graduate students and contributing to the advancement of construction cost estimating education and the development of future industry professionals.
